The Holy Bible – King James Version
Categories: Biblical, Religions
The Authorized King James Version is an English translation of the Christian Holy Bible begun in 1604 and completed in 1611 by the Church of England.
This was the third such official translation into English; the first having been the Great Bible commissioned by the Church of England in the reign of King Henry VIII, and the second having been the Bishop’s Bible of 1568. In January 1604, King James I of England convened the Hampton Court Conference where a new English version was conceived in response to the perceived problems of the earlier translations as detected by the Puritans, a faction within the Church of England.
James gave the translators instructions intended to guarantee that the new version would conform to the ecclesiology and reflect the episcopal structure of the Church of England and its beliefs about an ordained clergy. The translation was by 47 scholars, all of whom were members of the Church of England. In common with most other translations of the period, the New Testament was translated from the Textus Receptus (Received Text) series of the Greek texts. The Old Testament was translated from the Masoretic Hebrew text, while the Apocrypha were translated from the Greek Septuagint (LXX), except for 2 Esdras, which was translated from the Latin Vulgate.
While the Authorized Version was meant to replace the Bishops’ Bible as the official version for readings in the Church of England, it was apparently (unlike the Great Bible) never specifically “authorized”, although it is commonly known as the Authorized Version in the United Kingdom. However, the King’s Printer issued no further editions of the Bishops’ Bible; so necessarily the Authorized Version supplanted it as the standard lectern Bible in parish church use in England. In the Book of Common Prayer (1662), the text of the Authorized Version replaced the text of the Great Bible — for Epistle and Gospel readings — and as such was “authorized” by Act of Parliament. In the United States, the Authorized Version is known as the King James Version. The earliest appearance in print of the phrase “authorized version”, to mean this particular version of the bible, was published in 1824. The phrase “King James version” first appeared in print in 1884.

The Holy Bible is the bestselling book of all times but it’s actually the least read book even though it’s the most important book on the earth. Somebody even traslanted the BIBLE to mean “Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth”.It’s a book that needs to be studied to really understand all the things going on around us,it’s actually an eye opener to all these symbols and signs you’ve been talking about.

Becky, I had a good laugh and thanks for making my day.
Bible is indeed the best book ever written to help us know who God is and that he sent His only Son to die for our sins. He has great plans for us but as you know with every great plan there’ll always be someone to counter it. Find out for yourself in this book, fascinating indeed.

The Bible, for anyone with a shred of intelligence, is clearly an OCCULT book!
NONE of the gospels was written by any of Jesus apostles, with the exception, possibly of the gospel of John, who some people believe, was actually written by the Apostle Mary Magdeline!
People like Becky, and the others here open the Bible and read it piece-meal, that is, bit by bit, instead of reading it from the VERY FIRST page to it’s last page, like you would read any other book. LOL…. but people don’t do that, they read portions that make them feel good about their “FALSE” belief and that is all that matters and NO OTHER intelligent argument will be tolerated by these ignorants, unfortunately.
The Bible is NOT a proof of god in any way, shape, or form.
It is a great book filled with wonderful parables, insightful pieces of intelligence from Jesus that will certainly help you in your spiritual quest, but it is not more than that. As a book, and or, story, it is full of contradictions, unexplained discrepancies, or lies, and gaping holes in events, making it the least of all a Holy book from god!
Just my opinion, but i have read it from the FIRST page to the last page, as i would any other book and until you have done also, please don’t say you no more than that.

Syanen,
It’s your choice not to read the HOLY BIBLE, but it’s downright atrocious blasphemy to shun it. Guess what, the very GOD that you’re discrediting, loves you too, but don’t push it!

Does it contain removed passages from the Council of Nicea? Do we still have copies of those? or were they disposed off?
God exists and God knows there are people like Syena that will Act as if they know the reality, they will speak like angels, these false prophets!!
Believers never die!! Remember that.

Okay Becky, the cat’s about to be released from the bag. The NT Book Of James was authored by one of Yeshua’s (Greek name ‘Jesus’) flesh and blood brothers named James! James did not approve of his brother Jesus’ ministry and teachings, much less the rumor he was the actual Son of God come in the flesh, until after Jesus’ resurrection. James then became a great pillar of faith in the founding of the early church in which all people who professed faith in the risen Messiah (Yeshua/Jesus)were simply called Followers Of the Way. The term ‘Christian’ only came into play when Constantine “stirred the pot” so to speak. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Dear Syanen. good afternoon.
Reading your comment about the Bible it is clean you haven’t read the book completely. I did. The Bible is not a collection of fare tale. It has been written in a period of thousand and half years by almost 40 authors from different time, place, family and so on. All the book is addressed to one person only: Jesus. So, if you don´t catch the insight, you missed your reading.
On the old testament there are over 105 prophecies (1000 BC to 500BC) from all 49 books that were fulfilled in 24 hours by Jesus. the possibility of those forecasts fit someone by chance is 1 to 5.537.000.000.
well, over the last 3.500 years, many tried to grim the Bible. For over 1.200 Roman Catholic Church tried to stop people to read the book. But, even though, today over 2 billion people from the world believe in what is written on the Bible.
Then, i mean that there no other book like Bible. and never will the time show us one.
best regards
Isaac

The Authorized Version Of The Bible by Kings James illustrates the Bibliograhical parameters of historicity of oneness and universal attributes in the richness of English Linguistic fortes of opinion in totality in a gesticulated manner of Anglo-Saxon trend in a subjective view of all aspects of Bible in a fundamental text and context .In most of the ancient universties in India this Text is taught at the thesis level of University training under a great expert of university standing of British Columbian Universities in reality. The motif of this version is more than literal in honorific context in literal aspect of grasping capacity.Chapters are connotated and annotated well for scholastic probe and investigative research to a greatest level of revelation and hassock meditation policy in Catholic trend and literary realm in a festive context.Calcutta University in higher research arena has prescribed this text as a standard Biblical proposition for literary scholars at par with western thinkers in all the centuries in a neo-classical trend and newsletter of gist and content. The view reflected in this Bible is Neo-Platonic idea in University wits trend of reseach and phenomenological crux.

I currently read and have read the bible (KJV) many times, and base my life style on its many precepts in accordance with Christianity (but NOT on Christian Zionism). However, one thing has bothered me and it is the discovery that this bible was “authorized” by a Mason. (See the book “Freemasonry and the Birth of Modern Science,” by Robert Lomas, pp.81-85.) Is this an important thing to consider? Maybe someone has a viewpoint on this.

@ David; I’m not a Christian.
Would you be able to explain what you meant by not living by ‘Christian Zionism’ and that instead you live by the precept of Christianity? What are the differences, in your opinion?
Thanks

The Bible is one of the original Masonic code books. There are two stories in the book that run parallel to each other. The one you know and the one you should know.

You people are blind and will die religiously. And I guess this will mostly answer Becky’s question and hopefully wake most of you from your apathy. It is called the King James version (actually I think the description up above even says this) because King James authorized what was to be and what was not to be written. One man, decided what could be published in a book that turns so many people into zombies. Its an obvious means of control. Get it? Im King and I want everyone to do as I say not as I do, so I edit the Bible to my favor. Lost sheep looking for the herd. Jesus or whoever was right about the false prophets for damn sure hahaha!

Try the Victor Alexander Translation from the Ancient Aramaic Texts.

The New Living is also an excellent translation. I know to be very careful when the preacher exalts the King James Version as the second person of the Godhead because they are invariably deluded.

Have to add, unless The Spirit of Truth breathes upon the words of the Bible such that they come alive, they are just information which is sufficiently ambiguous that people with twisted minds will turn it to their own destruction.
It is a closed book unless Teh Word opens it – you will only ever understand it from an earth bound perspective until you are drawn to see it from the heavenly perspective, where everything you thought that you once knew gets shown to be 180 degrees opposed the the Truth.
One of the most compelling admonitions is found in 1 John 2 – where we are told NOT to look to a man to teach us, but to be taught from within, to be led into ALL TRUTH. It is freely available – the price of admission is paid – it is forgiveness – but you too must forgive – if you have ought against any – so that you too may be forgiven and enter in to that place where you just ask and then you receive.
Paul said that when perfection, or spiritual maturity, or being utterly abandoned to loves demands, that we see face to face, and that we know, even as we are known. You enter in even as you are entered in.
Through the exercising of the gifts within you to minister to others as God wills, you gain ever increasing entry into the kingdom – the paradox is that you enter in to the extent that you are entered into – it is called a relationship, and He is the Husband and you the bride.
So beautifully simple, even a child could understand.
